GDMBR Day 5


Day 5 June 15
32 miles

Brazos ridge and La Manga pass (10,230 feet). Brazos ridge is a  famous section of the gdmbr known for its impassable mud when wet and awesome views. It's been dry for a while and dust was more of an issue. Perfect weather, beautiful views, barely any cows. Came around a corner to a steam powered tourist train. Lots of mosquitoes in camp. I'm sore and tired but my bum doesn't hurt. Very good day!
