GDMBR Day 3

Day 3 June 13
26 miles + 2 on a wrong turn
Took me a lot longer than 4 hours!

Not as many miles as I would have liked. But it was warm and up hill and I don't want to push it to hard right now. Plenty enough time for bigger miles later. Set up camp at about three, because I was tired and it looked like rain. Lots of cows and grasshoppers. And Jefferson pine trees which smelled nice, like vanilla and syrup (and pine). Took a wrong turn and made it about a mile until I realized it. Oops, I could have gone that way too, but it would have been 13 miles on pavement instead of dirt and I'm not a fan of cars so I turned back.

Another Great Divide rider past camp around 5pm and said hey it'll be nice to have his tracks tomorrow as a double check that I'm heading the right way.
